phil in a pear tree! lalalalalalalallalalalalalala!

There are also two personal trainers, an ex-Playboy Playmate and a former striptease aerobatics instructor. Executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer didn't get rich casting mutts on all those CSI shows. If he has to make reality shows starring ordinary people, they aren't going to look ordinary
Too bad there are no midgets this time. However they do have one anal-retentive over bearing control freak husband, ala Colin. they may be dicks, but they are definitely entertaining.

I really enjoy this show, but I think it is going to turn into Survivor which is not a good thing (who really cares about that show now). It seems as though the last one just ended, and well I have the feeling everything is going to blend into one, and stop being entertaining.

Hopefully they get rid of that stupid delay thing where they made people wait for 30 or whatever. Such a useless addition to the show.
Maybe this time people will realise that freaking out about being 10 or 15 minutes behind is useless and actually will cause more problems then just being happy and thinking clearly about what needs to be done. It amazes me people fail to realize that the game is set up to have all the teams together and as long as you don't get waaayyyy far behind freaking only hurts you.
Oh yeah, Colin and Christie ruled last time and totally deserved to win over Chip and kim!!!

I don't think the Amazing Race will ever get as BORING as Survivor(yawn!) just because of all the different countries and culture they would encounter during the race. It's not like they are stuck on some island in the same location for a month. Of course Lost makes that very entertaining!

I hate reality TV. So much. Continuing in the long tradition of suburban American mediocrity. Blugh. :doo:

Here is what I don't understand, why don't they load up on Frommers Travel books or what have you, and by doing that wouldn't they get a huge advantage in a number of challenges. I don't know if the rules don't allow for it, but using some good old common sense in preperation would do absolute wonders for a team.
During all the backpacking trips I have taken, I have been able to learn that it is the necessities that one needs to bring along with them. Two or three books each wouldn't weigh much, and hell that would give a huge leg up on the compitition. Plus it never amazes me that people don't get in shape before these things.
Does anyone else remember the one that was done in Canada, I think it was named after a Ford SUV, but that was a real freaking race. They had people having to actually do challenges.

They do or at least they try to. But they only have a limited amount of money. I remember last race Colin was freaking out in the Phillipines because they didn't buy guide book and they couldn't figure out what the phillipines flag looked like.

I think it was called No Limits, or whatever fords slogan was from the time. That show was great, nice to actually see some Canadian content on reality shows, too bad they don't still make it.

I can think of something that weighs absolutely nothing, is found in any airport, and has more information than anything in the world.....it's called the "Internet"

I for one will never get tired of the Amazing Race. Its just such a well-done show. They do need more midgets on it though.

Here are some quotes from Chip and Kim and how they loved Calgary the best out of all their stops on the last race.
The cold was also a shock to the sun-loving couple.
"I will never forget when Kim and I were in the gondola the wind felt like razor blades against our faces. We talked about jumping off and killing ourselves," Chip says laughing. "Californians aren't used to that kind of cold."
Our kids found out we won the race when you did," says Chip laughing. "They thought Colin and Christie had won. They were so elated when they found out."
hahahahaha that guy is awesome.
enough cut and pasting. heres the whole story. hehe

Man it is amazing the mistakes that teams still make especially when it is the same mistakes that teams have made in the past. Do these teams not watch the other shows when they find out they are going on? You would think that would be a good way to get tips.

I too will never get bored of this show. The hour goes by so fast. And of course, having that hottie Kristy to look at makes it even more entertaining.

the guy with the yellow jacket with small man's syndrome is an idiot! Most rememberable moment when they go to the boats to find the ticket in the iceland waters. "show me your game face!" one word LOSER
