Second week without Henry Burris and another good team to play against. I am sure there are a lot of questions to answer today.

#1. Will Akili Smith take advantage of his opportunities as a starter? We all heard Akili will have a better game this time because of two weeks rep as a starter. I guess last week was a bad game to assess Akili's performance because he only had a week of rep as a satrting QB and also he did not finish the game because of the injury. Are we doom without Burris? Will Smith give way to Sankey today?

#2. Will the defense improve this game? Stamps are the worst team defensively with Denny Creehan as a defensive coordinator. Creehan keep insisting that his defensive plays works just as good but the Stamps play doesn't show it. Also, there are players complaining that Creehan is hard to work with and it shows when he get fired. Players were loose and smiling. One game is not an indication but if they play better then it is a start.

I am sure there are other things to answer after this game. We may not win this game (i hope I am wrong) but I am sure we will be happy to see a competitive Stampeder team and an improvement with Akili Smith's play.

I just have this feeling that the Stamps will win a very close game with Sandro kicking the winning FG with no time left on the clock.

The game is on but it's ambient sound only. CBC seriously needs to fire somebody.

Perhaps it's the opposite, maybe they need to hire someone? Cutbacks have been tough on them.

Akili Smith is honestly an awful quarterback, at least has hasn't thrown an INT yet. May as well put Sankey in, can't be as bad as Smith.

5 fgs for Congi in the first half. The Stamps haven't even attempted to attack the Sask defence. Defence hasn't played that poorly, very lucky its only 22-7.

Great opening drive by the Stamps. Sankey did more in that one drive than Smith did all of first half. We have a game now!
