That was vintage Dave, like back when people wouldn't come on his show because he had annoyed them. Good seeing him ask what everyone really cares about, not some skunky perfume for young skanks.

Letterman was an ass. I didn't find that funny or amusing at all.

Letterman is an ass and has been unfunny for a long time.
Personally between the two, Hilton handled him pretty easily.

I think she did pretty good for being torpedoed.. she probably deserves it.
The perfume thing was funny.

That was great - vintage Letterman. Too bad he backed off, it would be nice if someone would chase this skank out of public view forever.

Paris Hilton is nothing more than a joke. There isn't a single thing about her that is either interesting or newsworthy.
Letterman did what any normal human being does with a joke, he turned her into a punchline and used her to entertain his audience.
Hopefully she gets the hint and then gets a real job and a real life.

I love it when people say this stuff, it smacks of total hypoocrisy.
I might not like it, but she certainly has a real job and she gets paid far more then most of us to do it.
Call me when you get paid 6 figures to show up at a club opening, or you get to make movies, or you have companies calling you to promote thier goods, or put your name on a clothing line, or a bottle of perfume. You can say a lot of stuff about her, but she's pretty media saavy, and she's presented herself as a brand name. thats a job.
Get a life, this worthless girl has probably circled the globe in a private jet a few times, gets to live a life that most people would probably die for, and has a bank account of immense size.
I certainly don't think that she needs to get a real job or a real life, she's done a pretty brilliant job of doing things her own way.

you are mistaken.
she has appeared in TV, Movie and Music Video productions. She has succesfully marketed perfume, jewelery and clothing. She has also created an incredible strong and identifiable brand.

I was going to say the same thing, she might be really annoying but she continues to do things to get richer.

Well she can't have it both ways. She used the media to build an empire...she can't dictate now what she will and will not talk about.

Yeah...im sure she was the "brains" behind all that branding.
The most she ever did was a guy on videotape. But yes, let's start celebrating the success of first rate citizens like her. It'll do our society a lot of good.

That was not bad. I like it when Paris Hilton gets rip on, I honestly hate her. She was so fake on that show too, blowing kisses, bah! But I enjoy George Stroumboulopoulos's policy of never speaking about her on the show.

who says I am celebrating her? simply acknowledging that she done something that most people dont have the charisma nor connections to pull off.
