Chris Cornell...
Wow.
Just got back, my ears are still buzzing, my legs hurt like hell from standing on concrete for 3 hours. But what a terrific show. He put on a good one with Audioslave a few years ago, but this one was better. More Soundgarden = good. I gotta remember to bring a pen and paper and write the damn setlist down one of these days.
Rusty Cage, Outshined, Slaves and Bulldozers, Black Hole Sun, Ty Cobb (!), Fell on Black Days, Spoonman, Burden in My Hand from Soundgarden.
Hunger Strike and Say Hello to Heaven from Temple of the Dog
Sunshower.....a ton of Audioslave songs, wow, I am just too tired to think of them all.
The best voice in rock and roll today IMO. And his voice tonight was terrific. And for Mac Hall, the sound was decent for a change.

I went to the Audioslave concert when they came a couple years back which was wicked and I wanted to go to this but didn't for some reason. Damnit, I knew I should have gone.
Usually you can find set lists in a Chris Cornell forum. I'm sure if you look on his website you can find it.

Don't forget to mention the solo acoustic versions of I am a highway, Hotel California and Billie Jean. That's right Billie Jean! That was way too cool!

I was very stoked to hear "Say Hello to Heaven", and I didn't expect the Eagles cover, incredible.
His band was alright but when covering Soundgarden material you just can't put hired guns on stage and expect them to nail that stuff. The Badmotorfinger songs really suffered, but we're talking about Ben Sheppard, Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil. Can't replace those guys.

That's a fair comment. A few of the guitar solos were a bit clunky and the drummer was average. I thought his 2 solos were pretty pedestrian. That being said, the quality of Cornell's voice, his overall performance and the range and amount of material covered in the show made for a fantastic concert. He is the best rock singer out there IMO. The crowd was engaged and the band were enjoying themselves. One of the best shows I've been to in quite a while.

Wow, just wow.
I'm still hoping for a Soundgarden reunion someday. We all know where Matt Cameron is, but I can't find anything out about what Kim Thayil has been doing musically. They were just magic.
For those of you who like a Temple of the Dog song or two, what the heck are you doing? Get out the CD and listen to it a few times. It's way more than just a couple of great songs.
Check out Reach Down and Four Walled World for starters!
I guess this is as good a place as any to post this, but I finally got my copy of Black Market Radio (Peter Cornell's band) Better Than a Killer. It's well worth the money. It's raw for sure, but there are several really good songs. He doesn't sound as much like Chris as I thought on first listen...which is a good thing.
Thanks for posting Habby!

I went. Awesome.
My only complaint was that he was on the acoustic too long.
