Default Calgary D did not show up so as the OLine

First of all I can understand Calgary might not score a lot of points tonight BUT I wasn't sure what happened to the defense. JJackson looks like he's playing flag football the way he throws football and Joe Smith the same running the ball. This is an embarrassing game!!

On Offense, i have no idea how BC's DLine manhandled our Offensive Linemen and that is not helping the rookie QBs at all. Then George Cortez play calling was so predictable. First down, Joffrey runs the ball so 2nd down the QB has to throw the ball long therefore they are running around as the BC defense knows exactly what the call will be.

The only reason I am watching still is because I wanted to see how Nealy can play. I think he's got an arm and given some experience he will be a good QB in this league. Akili Smith on the other hand is so slow to react and I am not sure if he can be a good starting QB in the CFL at all.

IMO the defence has been the biggest problem all year long. Sure early on Burris and the offence struggled but the defence hasn't played many good games at all this year. They cannot stop the run and it seems that they can't stop teams when its 2nd and long.

d line got absolutly dominated...ahhhh why cant we stop joe smith. every time we play bc he runs over us..brutal. well at least nealy showed some promise, good think we dont play bc for another month again. unfortunatly the road to the grey cup through the west runs through bc and we cant seem to win in that dome....maybe we should worry about staying ahead of edmonton (then again there qb is hurt too)

That was a brutal game by the Stamps, the Lions just walked all over them. It was kinda sad to watch.

Stamps are lucky 6 of 8 teams makes the playoffs else they might have no chance with the way things are going.

Man do I ever miss having Wally. What an excellent coach and GM. He always knows how to put together such a strong team from year to year with depth in every position, including QB! Imagine that, he thinks its better to have a QB controversy than only one good QB and here's hoping he doesn't get hurt mentality!

I wish we would keep our D together for more than 1 year at a time instead of overhauling the team every stinkin year now. What a waste this season will be if they replace 80% of the team again. If we would take the time to develop some good QB's to challenge for the number 1 spot, wow, that would take care a lot of problems we have experienced over the last 3 years now.

It is going to be a long fall for us. We are playing the Riders next week and I don't assumed this game won't be any different from playing against BC unless the Riders comes in overconfident or whoever plays QB for the Stamps bring some magic.

The one thing that I believe Whally has done is give the backup some "reps" in practice and when the game is at a point where they will win/lose for sure he allows the backups to get some game playing time.

More teams need to do this as it seems the starting QB in half the teams are not playing at this moment. I know for sure it is true with BC, Montreal, Calgary and maybe you can say Hamilton with Printers hurt.

I think the Calgary O was tired from being on the field so much.
