Meadowlands-Devils GM Mike Walsh called a 2 minute press conference to announce the following:
Walsh-Thank you all for coming this evening. I called you all here to go on record and to make it known to the other gms that I have officially put our first round pick on the trade block. We are happy to listen to any serious offers for the pick.
Reporter-Have you had any serious offers?
Walsh-I've taken 2 good offers but nothing serious enough to accept the offer...we will continue to take offers and we will not deal the pick unless it helps our hockey club.
