Default Lego Instructions

Any Lego dudes out there?
I had bought my son some Lego a few years ago and he was obviously too young at 3 or 4 years old. I built a few sets for him and we put them away. Now that he is actually able to construct it on his own I can't find the instruction booklets for a few sets.

Where can I find the instructions in a pdf or downloadable format. I can't find them on the Lego website.

Any ideas of Lego fanatic sites that may have these available for download?

Thanks

You can't find the specific instructions for your sets, or you can't find where they keep the instructions on their site?

Some sets can be found here:

Thanks DA, I think that'll work. I just couldn't find where on the site.
I'm downloading some instructions now. I hope they are the right ones.

I've always felt following instructions on how to assemble Lego sort of missed the point. I mean, if you can't allow yourself to be creative and immaginative with Lego, where can you?

That's where buying those bulk boxes of lego come in. The ones with no particular theme or whatever. At least that's what I found in my childhood.

I always started with the instructions and then modified from there.

Sometimes I wish I had a secret room in my house were I could go and play Lego without anyone knowing.

bah, i loved making the actual sets that you bought. they were (and still are) sweet! how could you not like building a hospital or snow-station or stuff

however, i have the most fun building airplanes and little machines of war to have miniature battles with my little brother...always gotta build the nuke first, guarantees your victory

Lego has instructions? I thought you just dumped out the 10 gallon pickle bucket full of lego all over the floor and built whatever you wanted to. Then you made sure you left some really pokey pieces in the carpet when you cleaned up so you could get your dad to step on them in the middle of the night thus teaching you how to swear.

Ah, the old "GOD DAMN LEGO!!!".

I used to build all kinds of boats and subs and play with them in my pool. My dad would backwash the filter and 3 thousand neon antennas, little light pieces, and Lego guy helmets would come flying out.

I had to tell my son that you can build Lego without instructions and then he really got into it. Man Lego has changed it's all aboot the "pre-made" packaged units these days. All I had was the blocks. The skinny's, the fats, the longs etc. But you can make some pretty cool stuff these days.

Funny thing as too why I started this thread I was actuall mad at my son for being direpectful with his toys and losing the instructions then my wife reminded me that SHE threw them out because he vomited all over 3 or 4 instruction booklets about 2 years ago.

Anyway, I had a hoot playing with Lego all night but I am going to buy him a bucket of the generic stuff for his birthday so I can build my lame 2D men and stuff.

Thanks again

I'm sure if you drove by the elementary schools in a cargo van asking kids if they want to play legos with you that you'd get a lot of attention...

I always built it with the instructions once, played with it, then re built it in my own way multiple times. That seemed to be the best pattern, then you get the end product plus you get to be creative.

Lego was so much fun, the old Lions vs the Crows was the best war.

Can I use my van with the wolf howling at the moon painted on the side or does it have to be a cargo van?

Instruction scans. Anything up to 2003 should be in there.
