Default Luxury Car Delivery Man Busted for Speeding...Big Time

Quote:
The fastest speeding motorist ever caught in Britain was jailed for 10 weeks today after he admitted driving a Porsche at 172mph.
Tim Brady, of Harrow, north-west London, was caught in a random speed check as he drove a £98,000 3.6-litre 911 Turbo, Oxford crown court heard. Brady was also given a three-year driving ban and ordered to pay £474 costs.
Quote:
Brady resigned from his job as a delivery driver at Helphire, a luxury car hire firm with a base at Kingston Bagpuize, near to where he was caught, shortly after the incident.

He had taken the Porsche from his workplace without permission on January 27, the court was told.

That's impressive. What an idiot.

Yeah, I could see myself doing that if I had access to a Porsche.

Maybe he was just more comfortable driving at 277kph.

Wonder if he did any texting while he was out for a spin?

Though the quickest ever caught by a speed trap, Brady is not the fastest person ever convicted for speeding on Britain's roads.

Motorcyclist Daniel Nicks strapped a camcorder to his helmet and filmed himself doing 175 mph in December 2000. When he crashed, police found the camera, played the tape and charged him.
Quote:
But detectives are still hunting a biker who posted a video on the Internet of him speeding on a wet mountain pass road in low light at 176 mph.
Quote:
He resigned his job as a delivery driver for a luxury hire car firm following his arrest. He had taken the Porsche from his workplace without permission.
Some people are really smart aren't they
