Default Corporate Challenge

Just wondering how many CPers are involved in the corporate challenge this year and which events you're participating in. I'll be captaining our softball team and possibly playing some soccer.

I may possibly play some soccer, pool, bowling, and I will almost definitely be on the foosball team. I'm part of Colt, what corporation are you from?

I remember playing a few years ago for Mutual Life (now Clarica) in soccer in the Edmonton corporate challenge. Some people took it so seriously they banned soccer the next year. I am not sure it is even back yet.

I was our company co-ordinator for 3 years. We were in the Blue division and it was tough getting enough people out for events, especially on weekends when there were multiple events at the same time.

My company stays in the mini challenges, which sucks. I'd be out for softball, but we don't compete. Have done some go-karting in the past, urban orienteering and helped captain the scavenger hunt team once.

I don't even remember everything I'm signed up for. I think I'm going to have to drop out of softball as I just won't have enough time, but that leaves me bocce ball, horseshoes (I think), trivia, and tug of war.

I've done quite a few events. Took part in the Tug o' War, Urban Orienteering, Laser Tag, Ultimate & Softball...my teams only did half-decent in Ultimate

I'd be good at urban orienteering. There was a company doing it in our building and they asked me about their first location and I was able to figure out all of them easily.

Sounds like fun. I wish my company did this.

Gives me an idea for a fun thread.

I didn't actually join the softball team, so I'm not sure. Have my soccer games tomorrow.

I was out playing softball today. One loss and one forfeit win... but didn't move on. Too bad.

The CCC (Calgary Corporate Challenge) is always a good time. I always look forward to it!

I love the Corporate Challenge! So much fun. I've already participated in the Torch Relay, Tug-o-War, Volleyball, Laser Tag, Basketball... and then I'm captaining the soccer team next week and also am in Trivia. Hopefully we can get bumped up at some point from the Blue Division, my company keeps growing...

Our results have been sub-par at best, but who cares... it's all about getting out and having fun! Some people take these events waaaaaay too seriously, but there's always those types. You just ignore / mock them, and then it's all good...

1 win and 1 lose today in softball for us. It was a great time though. Got Lazer Tag finals on Monday then I'm done for the year.

I am on AMA/Bridgewater in red division. I have played Tug-o-war, Ultimate, Captained soft ball. We won bronze in tug o war, won a forfeit and lost in ultimate and went 0-2 last night in softball. I have soccer tomorrow, and badminton on tuesday. Plus i took part in the CCC idol, well the drinking part, I love having drinks paid for by the Company, especially at Flames central. I love the CCC!!!!

Silver in Volleyball in the Orange division for volleyball. Had a great time, it's always a fun tournament with really good competition. CP Rail won again, man those guys are good.
