Request for interviews/stories/contacts:
Hey folks,
I am looking for some people who could speak to me about some of these topics:
General Sports:
- Someone who has an interesting or off beat story in the sport they play
- A new emerging star
- Think athlete of the week, a touching story of kindness etc.
- Basically anything in this category that you think would work.
The one criteria is that it has to relate to SW Calgary. So preferably, an athlete from a SW community of Calgary, but I'd probably work around that somehow for a good story.
MD of Rockyview:
- Looking for someone who has been affected by the annexation of land by the city.
- Looking to discuss further expansion plans of major highways in the west district (Trans-Canada, Highway 8).
- If anyone knows anyone who may have an interesting story about that area (Think SW Calgary area of Rockyview -- Springbank).
For something that would be of great help:
I would really like to interview a WWII vet that fought for Germany, but who now resides in Calgary/surrounding area. I've met a few in my day, but all have unfortunately passed on. It is difficult to locate someone of this nature, and I figured I'd ask here.
