Best Sports Show on TV

I have mentioned on here that I'm a big fan of PTI, and lately is has been excellent.

I think it's the best show on TV. Period. Stack it up against anything. Sopranos, West Wing, Lost, Arrested Development, Corner Gas, Daily Show, any genre, I don't care.

These guys have reinvented the sports talk show format, and have it down so well that every show punches the viewer in the face with jab after jab of insight, humour, amazing interviewing/guests, and entertaining banter. Not only that, but they continually outdo themselves in the creativity department with the role-playing, ranking segments, good cop/bad cop, etc.

So it got me thinking, what other sports shows out there do you guys like. aside from Sportscentre or Sportscentral?

1- PTI
2- NFL Primetime
3- Snapshots with Jim Hughson

Damn, forgot both of those shows. I actually like both of them better than Snapshots.

I hate the Best Damn Sports show. And OTR is overrated. Too often, the guests are idiots. And Lansberg is a bit of a butthead.

I love Kornheiser. He's the sporting world's version of Jon Stewart. But when they talk about hockey, they have no idea what they are talking about.

Bob Ryan and John Saunders are quite excellent.

Pardon the Interruption. It is an ESPN sports show with Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser, two reporters with the Washington Post.

It is on TSN at 3:30 although often it is pre-empted by Golf on Thursday and Friday.

I'm never home to catch PTI, but when I Get the chance to watch it I can't miss it. Great show.
The one sports show other then Sportscenter I try to NEVER EVER miss is NFL Primetime....just because I'm so obsessed with the NFL it seems like a must watch every week. One of these days I might just watch that NFL Monday Countdown since TSN has now started showing it.

The one show I never miss is NFL Primetime - great hosts, excellent analysis and FULL highlights of all the game.

I enjoy PTI but don't get to watch it very often.
