Default Bourne, Bond or Bauer

I stole this from another OT thread out there ...but hey I am just plain bored... how do I get a poll going?

Who is the best and for what merit?
  • Jason Bourne
  • James Bond
  • Jack Bauer

Are you kidding me? Only one of those guys has shagged chicks in camoflouged icebergs, killed more humans than Arnold, and STILL managed to make chest hair cool.

Besides, whenever your leading lady's name is Pu$$Y Galore....well fill in the blanks man!

While I haven’t seen any of the Bourne’s and have never watched 24 so this opinion is rather skewed but I am traditional guy, has to be James Bond especially with a resurgence of a series with Casino Royale

OK - I agree as well Bond really is top notch. But who would win in a fight and why?

Bourne could kick Bond's and Bauer's ass.

Doesn't mean I like him the best, just my bet.

I agree. How can you compare him to those other two guys, whose shtick primarily consists of talking dramatically into a cell phone and forgetting everything. This is a cake walk.

1. Bond
2. Bourne

Bauer does not even compare to these two characters IMO

Which Bond?

I was not a fan of Roger Moore.
Early Sean Connery was good. George Lazenby, I blinked and missed him. Ditto Timothy Dalton.
Pierce Brosnan was OK.
Daniel Craig was the best one in a long time.

The Bond in the books was different than the ones on screen (at least from the couple Bond books I have read)

I don’t know did you see how bad Bond F’s up that guy up right at the beginning of Casino Royale?

Bourne would beat up Bond because he would make him dizzy and nauseous with that crappy cinematography.

MacGuyver would kick all 3 of their asses on tv though.

Maybe, but Chuck Norris would eat them all alive for sure

Not really sure why people like Daniel Craig so much. He reminded me of some meathead bouncer at Cowboys. He had no gentlemanly style whatsoever...something every Bond requrires plenty of.

I actually sorta liked Timothy Dalton as Bond. Connery of course was great, and Roger Moore I like better then most. Pierce Brosnan was solid too...too bad he had to be in a bunch of watered down, politically-correct versions of 007 movies.

Probably because Casino Royale was a better movie than most of them have been in the past few years. The Bond gadgets are neat, but there have been a few movies where gadgets and chases are more important than the story being told. Casino Royale was more balanced in that respect, which made for a better movie and a better Bond.

You have got to be kidding. There isn't even a doubt. It's Jack Bauer.

#1 - Jack Bauer is the only thing that can cut Chuck Norris

#2 - James Bond never said anything like this -
"You probably don't think that I can force this towel down your throat, but trust me, I can. All the way. Except I'd hold onto this one little bit at the end. When your stomach starts to digest it, I'll pull it out, taking your stomach lining with it. For most people it would take about a week to die. It's very painful."

I can't believe there was even a poll needed

James Bond is epic. He's a class all by himself.

I agree completely. I liked Sean Connery and Brosnan, but found Daniel Craig the best so far, and it's probably because I enjoyed the movie the most in a while.

Tatiana: The mechanism is... Oh James, James... Will you make love to me all the time in England?
Bond: Day and night. Go on about the mechanism.

Does Jack even know what sex is?

Audry - Ugly
Teri Bauer - Deserved to be shot
Nina Myers - Okay... she was kinda neat

Bourne - eh, he slayed the one Euro broad.. but that's about it.

Bond - you can look up to the guy in every faucet of life.
