Tomorrow's (Aug 19) "Get Fuzzy" cartoon
I'm not sure if either Calgary paper prints the cartoon 'Get Fuzzy' in their Sunday comics, but tomorrow's will be a good one for you Flame fans. Here's a link that won't help you until it is updated sometime tomorrow morning.

what's strange about this is that it's an American comic. would his readers even know who the hell the Flames are? bravo to him for saying "ah, so what" though

Honestly I think the cartoonist is a Flames fan, this is the third or fourth time I've seen Flames reference or stuff in Get Fuzzy.
I've seen a hat, shirt....

I think he's a Bruins fan but also a big hockey fan in general. Michel Goulet has made an appearance in his comic strip on several occasions, wearing a Nordiques jersey.

Brandon DiCamillo (of CKY, Jackass, and Viva la Bam fame) was born and raised in Pennsylvania and hates to travel. yet he is a hardcore Flames fan and made several not so subtle references to the team in the last season of Viva la Bam (including wearing an old school jersey for an entire episode)
for a guy who has probably never even been to Canada, that one confuses me

in one of the feature books Satchel finds out he's Canadian and Rob needs to get away from the Red Sox after they lose, and he cracks so they goto Nova Scotia (I think) for a holiday to see Satchel's parents, and they actually goto a Halifax Mooseheads game, and Rob tried to explain hockey to the boys, it was a great strip.
