Just stumbled across a great deal for small businesses and the many entrepreneurs here on CP. Microsoft is offering the Express version of it's software for free. I haven't played around with it fully, but from what I can see it'll handle AR/AP/JE/Customers/Vendors and crank out financial statements which is what most basic users need.

I'm going to be using it for our selfmanaged condo association, and I'm sure it'd be great for everything from photographers and even the eBay Powersellers to track their finances.

Express doesn't have support for countries other than the US...

Yeah but debits and credits are debits and credits no matter the country. The fact that it's support is for the US is only an issue if you're going to do payroll or eletronic banking via this program (which I don't think is available in the Express version anyways).

It'll work fine for basic accounting in Canada.
