I have PS3. At first I didn't like it, (I only played 2007 a little on PS3, never bought it, loved it on PS2), because it was different and harder. After screwing around with a few exhibition games I decided Pro was the way to go. I am used to killing the game on All-Pro (Never play on All-Madden because it cheats

) and having to tweak the settings.
I played the first two games of a 'chise with New England. Beat the Jets 27-20 then played the Chargers and beat them 24-17 in what may have been the most exciting game of Madden I have ever played against the computer. It wa spouring rain. I was ahead or tied the whole game, but San Diego made a comeback, down 10 and tied it up. Then we traded scores and I added one more. San Diego got the ball with 1:35 left and needed the TD to tie. The drive was on and they were at the 20 with :45 left or so. They got a first down and were on the 6.....time running down, time outs being used....LT up the middle for 4.....last timeout used......6 seconds left....dump off to LT....wide open.....Ellis Hobbs leave his coverage.....grabs LT.....spins him....and drops him on the 1mm line....San Diego tries to run up and spike the ball.....2.....1.....(gun sound) just as Rivers gets behind centre....Pats win!!!!
Anyway, here's some thigns I like and don't like:
Like
-Graphics, don't believe the hype about the game not looking good on PS3. Sure it may be better on XBox360 due to double the frame rate, but that does not mean it looks bad on PS3.
-Turnovers, at first it seemed like there were too many, but it really forces you to use the "protect ball" button and to only throw to guys who are open or are in a mismatch
-Mismatches or more specifically, the new weapons system. I haven't played a whole lot, but what I've seen this is a great improvement.
-Stars are stars, good players make plays. It seems there won't be as much getting burned by lesser players.
-the gang tackling and high-low option tackling option
-all the ways to improve (I am not good at the lead blocking thing, I tend to forget that you can shift the line blocking)
-the new individual defensive plays
- lateral. It's about time that they brought this back. I have only done it by accident as that is where I usually had my left juke and I went back to PS2 in my mind....FUMBLE!!!
Dislikes
-radio guy has to go, and apparently he does next year
-I have only seen rain, but it poured the whole game which is fine as long as there are varying amounts of rain in other games. PS2 versions had the rain start up and stop etc.
-No refs or chain gang during the play, not a big deal, but adds to the realism.
-no ability to edit player packages
-stupid interception bug that was in last year (may be specific to next gen) where simmed game interceptions count as one for the QB, but the guy who intercepts gets two. This is inexcusable as people complained loud and hard about this last year. Maybe they'll get it in a patch.
