Three Days Of Rain
Looks like we will be getting some rain before the weekend, definitely needed but I would have preferred slightly higher temperatures than 13.

No way, bring on more of this! I love coolish rainy weather. Especially after the overly hot July we just suffered through.

My backyard was crunchy when I walked across it last night. We need rain badly.

That low of 4 on Saturday should be fun.

I play tonight.
It is always tough post-Stampede. We've been short players the past few weeks with people all disappearing for vacations.
Back on topic - the rain should help the field, it has been like concrete out in field and my cleats can't dig in. I hate slipping while wearing cleats.

maybe we should just rename summer to "July".
That 30 degrees was nice while it lasted. At least I think it's supposed to get back up there after this week, but after August, all bets are off.

I am looking forward to the greening of the countryside once again. Good timing for a big dump of rain.

Played yesterday in Nanton. Had a nice cool breeze all day. It was nice to play a round where you're not sweating profusely.

Wow, you would really enjoy the West Coast from October to March then!

I've been taking care of my parents plants for the last few weeks, and I've done a pretty shatty job watering them... so maybe this rain will help revive them.

This is why I do not miss Calgary.
That and the fact it snowed for a few first days of school. It's still usually in the high 20's here Labour Day Weekend. Hell, my family golf tournament is always on Thanksgiving and I wear shorts.

heh, you basically nailed my plans to move out west. Vancouver/Seattle climate wise is perfect for me. Screw this +35 degree July, -5.2 billion December-March garbage!
I'm only half kidding. Think the Flames would move with me?
