Default Rickards White

Anyone else think this beer is just amazing.

I just enjoyed another one this past lunch hour and just can't get enough...

Rumor has it that it is the same as Blue moon but just with a different name...

Is it only available on tap?
I've heard people rave about it but haven't come across it myself.
Is it similar to Hoegaarden?

Good brew. It is similar to Hoegaarden. The orange is a nice touch.

I was told that it was quite similar to hoegarden so then I decided to test that myself... I have always been a fan of hoegarden but Rickards White to me tastes better...

They have it on tap at a few places... you can't buy a 12 pack quite yet... it only comes as part of the Rickards multi - pack (4 - red, 4 - honey brown, and 4 white)

So, is it white in colour? Or just lighter than regular beer in colour?

I believe it is unfiltered and it is very light. The unfiltered aspect makes it look cloudy, which in turn makes it look whiter than most any other beer you see.... but it is still a very light coloured beer-brown colour - not like milk-coloured or something!! (ew!)

I first tried this beer at Limericks on wing night and thought it was strange to have the orange in my beer. After the first sip though I was hooked, this is a very nice and refreshing beer. Rickards White is definitely a good beer to have on a warm sunny day I think. It is another alternative to my Guinness if I want something lighter.

I'm always up for something new, so I'll put this on my list of beer to try.

If Rickard's Red is Canadian with red food coloring, what the heck is in Rickard's White?

Its usually a ten year phase between laying down the specs of a new class of naval vessels and laying down the keel.

The Den at the university has had it for several months.
Unfortunately, The Den is closed during the summer and the Black Lounge doesn't have the beer.
This makes me, someone working at the university throughout the summer, very sad.

So you try new beers while you wait?

talked to the manager at my local liquor store (i am a former employee there) and she talked to the rep for me and apperently they might come out with white twelve packs soon. the rep speculated that ricards is waiting to see how it does in pubs and bars. that and rickards would like to boost the sales of the variety packs from people who are just looking for white.
