Heading home for a few days

Well it was all kind of sudden. I had applied for a job at Saint Mary's U in Halifax and they want to give me an interview. I fly down tomorrow, have my interview Thursday morning, I imagine I'll be kind of sleepy for it with the 3 hr time difference. Then I'm driving down to Cape Breton to visit the family for a couple days and fly back Monday. Not a lot planned for when I'm down that way. Will be trying to get a lot of pictures and get some of my photography inspiration back. Will get a pepperoni and cheese pizza from Napoli's. Best pizza ever! Other than that I'll be trying to de-stress. If the job works out it'd be great so we could move back east. Keep your fingers crossed!

Well things are just about final that we'll be moving back to NS. Went down and had my interview. Felt very good afterwards, visited the parents for a few days and then came back to Calgary. Just had a call that I was the preferred candidate and they were wondering if I was still interested and if they could contact my references. She told me the salary range I'd be looking at, etc. I'm positive my references will have nothing bad to say so I hope to hear back in the next day or so with an offer!

It's been a long time in the works and hopefully this is it. I think it's just a formality now with the reference checks but I'm not getting my hopes up just yet.

we figure we'll make about $60K on it, which will take a big chunk out of the price down there.
