Default Weather warnings 30/07/07 TORNADO WATCH FOR

Just a heads up that a cell is coming from the west and looks like it is gonna give us a direct hit.

Also, conditions today are favorable for supercell development. Tornadoes can be associated with these supercells. So keep an eye on things tonight. I'd say from the Clairsholm region all the way up to Edmonton could be seeing some severe weather today. As usual, I will keep those who are interested posted.

NW of Saskatoon has a tornado warning on it. Things could really get interesting tonight.

edit: Apparently a 737 pilot saw a tornado in the cell NW of Saskatoon. It is pretty much out in the middle of nowhere though.

Grrrr..

I got home from work - had a snack, rested, changed, stretched, put on shoes, got bike and running stuff ready, went outside, locked up house, put on sunglasses, next my helmet "BOOM" starts raining...

Pouring very hard on NE corner of UofC. Sky isn't even dark, in fact, it looks quite nice.

KG, you are not going chasing tonight?

Damn! We just got hit with some hail that was a tiny bit smaller then golf ball sized in Erinwoods about 5 mins ago. It only lasted maybe a minute tops though.
