I've been wondering, if one went to a Stampede party at Flames Central, does it count towards the Flames HRR (hockey related revenue) towards the cap, or is it just money in the Flames owners' pockets?

I just find it funny that there's apparently a cyber movement afoot for Calgary-based Oilers fan to descend upon the joint keeping in mind all proceeds of such an swarming will only benefit financially the Calgary Flames and its valued partners. Short of pillaging, burning the joint down (images of Whyte Ave.) and planting their flag Iwo Jima-style, no victory is possible in their little scheme.

I love how getting together with a few Oilers fans in Calgary for drinks at a sports bar is somehow defined as a scheme. Just watch out if they plan to go play a round of golf instead, that might be defined as a conspiracy!

If they ever need a motto, it should be: "Flames Central: Every Beer Helps Keep Kipper Here"

Verey slick venue, when I stopped by it it was dead though. Course it was very late and I imagine they'll pull in the revenue when hockey starts.
Interesting they are trying to bring in bands.
