Wives were more demanding—asking for changes in the relationship or in their partner—and were more likely to get their way than the husbands. This held regardless of who had chosen the issue.


The women were not just talking more than their husbands.

My perception might be off, but I do find that as soon as I do one little thing thats not how my wife likes it she jumps down my throat and has to lecture me on it every freaking time. Like I'm sorry that I used the towel on the left to dry my hands.....why do we need two hand towels by every sink? Whereas she constantly leaves dishes all over the counter, doesn't rinse off plates after she uses them and has smothered her food in sauce or had cereal and leaves the bowl partially full of milk. Yet when I ask her why she always does it and can't rinse stuff off and put it in the dishwasher the water works come out. Every time I end up being the bad guy it seems like. Same with money, I'm a big time A-hole for suggesting we should pay things like the mortgage, the car, the utilities and insurance before she can go spend money on clothes or useless knick knacks.....How am I supposed to win when I have to use logic!

Aren't all women like that, Syl? Correct me if I'm wrong but it has to do with the moon not being aligned properly with the earth and when it's located over water, which it is most of the time since the earth surface is like 71% water or some **** like that, that's when they all go into these 180° mood swings where they are at opposite ends of the spectrum in each 15-minute segment of the day?

And then it gets even worse when it's a full moon and it happens during a certain time of the month and it's located over water, if all three of these things align themselves at the exact time, that's the time when you can't even look at them eye-to-eye, much less speak a word, or you'll suffer some kind of life-long debilitating injury?

This is my understanding and my rationale behind remaining single. And to answer you're question Johnny, no I don't live with a woman. As if it weren't obvious enough that I needed to answer the question. Why are women in charge at home? Because they are ing scary, that's why. No need to complicate the matter. It's simple the way I see it. Ask a woman that same question and she'll go on and on about it for the next week.

Well I don't want to paint all women with the same brush.....But on the other hand I doubt things would be any different for me if I was married to a different woman type of thing. Likely has as much to do with my personality and tastes as it has to do with the woman sort of thing.

Well that's the thing, man, women aren't logical creatures.

There's no value-judgment there, by the way, it's just how it is. Expecting women to be ruled by rationality -- expecting them to be more like men -- is barking up the wrong tree.
