Wish I could get a company to sponsor the liquor I drink at a wedding. That would be pretty sweet!

Also, does anyone else fine the name 'Genghis Khan Holiday resort' funny? Not exactly the warm, hospital type name I like in my hotels.

The problem with the whole Genghis Khan thing is that 99% of what we think about him is totally untrue.

This is true. Our perception of Khan is coloured by the initial and horribly bias'd historians of the enlightenment. Pick up a modern history book on the Mongolian empire and you'll be very surprised at what Ghengis Khan is attributed to.

It's similar to the perception of Xerces in the west. Gotta love historical/social bias.

Strangely I find it interesting that his wife is 5 foot 6 inches. Seems pretty tall. Guess I was expecting the worlds tallest man to marry the worlds shortest woman...

The only thing I really know about Ghengis Khan is from Bill & Ted's...that's kinda sad. He can sure ravage a sporting goods store.

The guy is 14 inches taller than me. I get a little freaked out when I meet someone that is eye level with me, just because I'm not used to it at all. If I saw him I think I'd run and cry.
