Which future ex-cabinet member will write the first damning insiders view of GWB's first term?

My money's on Colin Powell, unless he has aspirations for the Presidency.

Even the neo-cons would have a hard time discrediting Powell.

The chances of Powell being ousted are pretty low IMO. He has said repeatedly he'd server another term if asked to do so depsite rumors to the contrary. He is a guy I take at his word so I don't see him going anywhere. Clearly, though, he's not as hawkish as some of the other cabinet members.

I'd like to see Rumsfeld canned to be honest.

It sounds like Ashcroft is going. That should be a cause for celebration for all Americans IMO. Rumsfeld absolutely should be fired.

I hope to hell Powell sticks around. I think it's quite necessary to have at least one military man on staff if you are going to be doing things military.

Condoleeza Rice's departure will be imminent. Voluntary. Wants to move to California. Just asking but isn't there a potential NFL franchise going to LA?

Ashcroft will be forced out. Involuntary.

Colin Powell's aides have been telling CNN, as per last night, that he wants to stay around for a while.

Verdict seems to be that six months from now, things will look quite a bit different but a gradual process.

Just my half-baked opinion based on heresay.
