Yes, it's a joke...that's fine.

Some people here think the joke is the truth, despite it's comedic intent. So it's a joke, but it so true. That's where my reaction is coming from.

Are you saying that there is no truth to the stereotype that the "red states" are more religious? Because there is a reason both sides refer to much of the south as the Bible Belt.

That's not what I said.

I'm saying there is no truth to the popular belief on this site that this country is full of fanatical Christians. Full to the point that they dominate society.
