Thought I'd share an album I have recently discovered.

As an XM listener, and a XM Channel 12 junkie, I've heard a lot of "Crown of Jewels" by Bruce Hornsby & Ricky Skaggs, and loved it... well, beyond loved it, but thats another story for another day. Eitherway, I finally decided to buy the album on a whim due to Crown of Jewels song, and its absolutely amazing for those who enjoy country or bluegrass.

The album is simply: Bruce Hornsby & Ricky Skaggs.

I would highly recommend this album. I got it off iTunes.

That's Victor Wooten...and yeah, he's probably the best bass player in the world. He is unreal.

My favourite roots musician is a dobro player named Jerry Douglas ... he's a buddy of Bela's. The guy has been called the Jimi Hendrix of roots guitar.
