I'm going to the fireworks. If you get there early (i.e. around 7 or 7:30), you can park near the park. Otherwise, you are stuck well outside. There is a Safeway or something not too far away. There are usually spots on the side streets near there. It is a slight walk from there, but not too bad.

I'm going, all 5 nights. Park at the Zeller's on 17th avenue... there is always parking there.

Take the bus from Marlborough. In past years this has been very efficient.

It likely isnt free. I parked there last year, and it was $5 - the $5 went to a charity. Actually, it might have been $10 even. I cant remember.
There always used to be parking there because it was a huge parking lot. However, yesterday, I noticed that a Sobey's has also been built in that lot, so the amount of available parking will be reduced.

Maybe it was a Zellers, not a Safeway (on 17th Ave, just west of where they close of the street). I normally park on one of the side streets near that parking lot. As others have mentioned, they charge for parking in the lot. There are usually a few free spots available nearby. It only takes about about 20 minutes to walk to the park.

Holy crap.
I have heard the concussions of the fireworks for the last half hour, and I live just north of 64th Ave.

My brother and I watched from the Erin Woods school field. Not the greatest view out there but you could still see them.
It started at about 9:30 this evening I believe. We'll probably go see them tomorrow again.
