Stories like this break my heart. It's absolutely fantastic that they were rescued out of the ring, but I just can't understand how people think this is ok...for the people comitting the acts, and those that create the market for it.
It makes me sick.

So how does a 2yr old get involved in an internet porn ring? Was the kid abducted? Was it his/her parents? Either way it's effin sick, but who the hell does that to a toddler?

Honestly, I am so for corporal punishment for these types of crimes. At the very least these people should be included in the general population of any prison that they go too. At least there, they would know what it feels like to be preyed upon and exploited.

They should lock them away for 20 years and then let the kids they abused (and screwed up) have 10 minutes with a baseball bat to play human Piñata.

Death by slow castration is my thought. How could anybody do this? Especially to a 2 year old. WDF?

I'd say that they better insert a glass tube into urethras of each of the criminals, snap it off and then smash it with a rubber mallet and then sew it shut. Then, let nature take care of the rest.

You seem to have put an awful lot of thought into this.

I don't think that type of justice involves enough pain and torture.

Why not really let nature take care of it?

How about tying a rope to their sensitive bits and getting dragged behind a moving object at a high rate of speed over a bumpy road (car, horse...) that is a bit of old fashioned cowboy justice

Holy...someone is going to come along here...and take the high road soon, telling everyone how evil they are.
Either way...this is sick. 2 year old? WDF indeed.

Not many would disagree with the sentiment that these people deserve pretty much anything they get.
However it would be nice to someday have enough understanding of the mind to be able to cure these people (and rapists, murderers, etc), rather than just putting them in jail for a (sometimes small) amount of time and hoping that they don't reoffend.

I hate to tell you this, but 2 years old isn't the lower limit. Not even close. Think more like 2 minutes and you'll get a better idea for the depravity some are capable of.

A wonderful story in the National Post this morning on the Toronto detective who busted this wide open . . . . . the pedophile ring put him in charge of security!!!
An international network of pedophiles, child abusers and pornographers was so concerned with keeping its activities secret from police that members placed their security in the hands of the one person they thought they could trust -- a man who turned out to be an undercover detective with Toronto police.
"They gave me the power to be the bouncer of the room," Sgt. Paul Krawczyk said Monday, as police in Britain announced the dismantling of an online trading post for images of child sexual abuse involving more than 700 members in 35 countries, including Canada.
To avoid police infiltration of their online community, the head of the network wanted just one person to be in charge of security.
"They actually gave administrative powers to the only cop in the room," said Krawczyk who, until recently, was a detective with the lauded Toronto police Child Exploitation Unit.
"It gave me power to vet members -- but I didn't want to kick people out of the room; I wanted them to come in and be welcome so we could arrest them.
"It gave me the power to be able to trace the members. That's why we wanted this power and they gave it to us on a silver platter.
"And I was sitting there the whole time saying: You don't know what you're getting into.' "
