Default HTML/Encoding help needed

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I was just wondering if someone could help me with an HTML question. I was wondering how to encode an .mp3 or .wma file so it will play when someone opens the page? Thanks for the help.

Please don't do it. One of the most annoying things is going to a website and having music play.

Well, a friend and I run a fan site of the old QC Mallards. I planned on just having a song(Pardon Me by Incubus) playing on the home page with a re-direct to our new QC Flames page.

The easiest way to do it probably is to embed a flash music player in the page. I'm sure there must be some free ones out there.

EDIT: Something like this, but not sure if this can be set to start automatically:

http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/

There's another one that for sure can be set to play when you visit the page.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!........

First of all, there are copyright issues with what you want to do and second, it's so annoying. I can't get to my back button quick enough.
