Default TSN Alt Feed?
It used to be the Digital Preview Channel, but now that's gone, is the TSN Alt feed anywhere on Shaw in Calgary?

...and, if i may add, for those who have it, is it worth it? is it always different programming? what does it usually show?

TSN has things like regional Leafs coverage. So when TSN is showing a "Toronto area only" Leafs game, TSN-A shows women's poker or stuff like that.

Typically on Shaw channel 21 would just substitute TSN-A for that feed.

There really isn't much on there.

I think you are out of luck in Calgary. Dave Rowe on the FAn 960 said Shaw will not b carrying TSN -Alt.

Default Shaw cable customers - TSN alternate feed
Shaw stopped regularily carrying the TSN Alternate feed.

They used to have it on the preview channel but then stopped showing it. Ive contacted them numerous times and they "say" if the demand is there, they will add it.

I dont know if it helps but it cant hurt, so please contact them and request that you want the TSN Alternate feed to always be shown.

StarChoice carries the TSN-Alt feed as well. It is only on during scheduling conflicts, events running over-time (rain delays, Overtimes) or blackout restrictions.

the race should be on TSN's standard feed, ch. 21. got an email letting us know that TSN had it listed as showing on the alt feed incorrectly

Here in Calgary it is not on the regular feed on 21 nor the 214 HD feed.
