This has got to be one of the biggest airs by someone on a snowboard I have ever seen. Rumour has it the drop was supposed to be a 40-50 footer, but an updraft caught the
helicopter. Before he knew it the chopper was all over the place and he just
went, not knowing how high he was.

Check the avalanche he starts when he lands......

It's footage from a vid called "Lame" if anyone is interested.

Edit: The rider is Mike Basich, known for his large drops and 60 ft rainbow rails .
