Who wants some youth
The Pens are looking to deal the following NHL ready forwards/ prospects:
Franz Nielsen - make CPHL history and have the first Danish Born player in league history to play in the NHL on your team. After a torrid start in his first year in North America playinmg in the AHL Nielson finished the season playing in the NHL recording 2 points in 15 game, things will only get better as Franz adapts to the North American style. TRADED
Jarkko Immonen - slotted in to challege for the #2 center spot with the Rangers next year the skilled Finn played 14 games with the Rangers in 2006-07, and recorded 6 points.
Konstantin Glazachev- drafted #35 overall by the Preds in the 03 NHL draft, Konstantin has played the past 3 years in the RSL, putting up consistent numbers.
Marek Bartanus- This Slovakian power forward is a project that could pan out for a team willing to take him on. We would take a late pick for the for the 2005 4th round draft pick.
Bill Thomas- The former college star cracked the Yotes lineup right out of college and was again called up to finish the last 24 games with the Coyotes where he scored 8 times and added 6 assists. Bill has been a solid scorer at every level he has played and should have the chanceto bring it to the NHL next season.
The Pens are looking for defensive help and could package these players together to bring in a veteran dman who can help us now.
