Nashville Trade Announcment

It is with great pleasure that the Nashville Predators announce the following deal:

To Nashville: Tomas Vokoun, Craig Rivet, Bryan McCabe

To Philadelphia: Alex Radulov, Valterri Filppula, Peter Budaj and Daniel Sedin.

"We are elated to have a bonafide number one goaltender here in Nashville" said GM Lough. "Given that he allowed no goals during his time in Philly we are hopeful that this trend continues".

It was not a cheap move to make, and in general a lot of youth was sent the way of the Flyers, who will also send over $4.5 million in 2007-2008. GM Noops was still completing his "rape shower" at press time and was not available for comment. (sorry buddy, but you spurred me to make that comment with your remark in the other thread!)

Seriously though, thank you to Philadelphia for the good discussion on this deal.

Yup, I agree. His payroll situation needs to be taken into account. This was far from a "rape job" in my opinion!

PS, just kidding, I think the deal is pretty even Noopsy, except the money part. And that all goes away in a YEAR, or until you squeeze it out of another GM.
