Question Giving away or getting rid of pine trees?

I've got around 10 spruce trees growing in my yard that are between 5 and 10 feet tall that I need to get rid of.

Does anyone know how I'd go about finding either a company and/or persons that might want to come get them?

I'd rather give them away and have them re-planted somewhere rather than just cut them up. The trees are in good shape, I just need to get rid of them before they grow any bigger (they're too close to my house and my yard isn't big enough to just move them somewhere else). The previous owner should never have planted them where he did.

I believe one of the tree moving companies (Alberta Tree Movers?) has a registry where you can register to give your trees away. Then if someone wants to take them, they have to pay the moving fee.

Are you sure they are pine trees and not spruce? You will probably want to verify exactly what type of pine tree they are first.

Edited original post. They're spruce trees. Thanks.

If anyone on CP wants them (either by paying someone to move them or digging them up yourself), just fire me a PM.
