Driving from the Airport to Cochrane

What is the quickest route ??

It the Ring road open in the North, or is Country Hills drive the quickest.

Ring road as far as you can go, Country Hills the rest of the way.

We will be leaving the airport at 820. Any issues with cross iron mills closing and the ring road being busy.

No issues at all with that. The vast majority of people from Cross Iron Mills will be continuing on Deerfoot right into the city.

Your best route is Country Hills West to Center Street (right west of Silver City). Go north on Center to the ring road, then west. Stay on the Ring Road all the way to Crowchild, then head west to Cochrane.

I am guessing that at the speed limit, it should take you 40 minutes at a maximum to get from the airport to Cochrane.

I drive that route daily. From airport I either take Country Hills to Stoney all the way to the 1A. If Country Hills is jammed with traffic I'll sometimes take Deerfoot to Balzac, head West until I reach Symon's Valley Ranch, and then head West at that intersection all the way to Woodland Road.
