To quote South Park (Season 4, Probably)
Quote:
SPEAKER
Hello, newcomers, and welcome. Can everybody
hear me? Hello? Can everybuh-? Okay.
Uh, I'm the hell director. Uh, it looks
like we have about 8,615 of you newbies
today, and for those of you who are
a little confused, uh, you are dead,
and this is hell, so, abandon all hope
and uh yada yada yada. Uh, we are now
going to start the orientation process,
which will last about-
MAN 4
Hey, wait a minute, I shouldn't be here.
I wa a totally strict and devout Protestant!
I thought we went to heaven!
HELL DIRECTOR
Yes, well I'm afraid you were wrong.
SOLDIER
I was a practicing Jehovah's Witness.
HELL DIRECTOR
Uh, you picked the wrong religion as well.
MAN 5
Well, who was right? Who gets into heaven?
HELL DIRECTOR
I'm afraid it was the Mormons. Yes,
the Mormons were the correct answer.
CROWD
Awww.

That South Park thing sounds so ripped off from Rowan Atkinson's "The Devil" sketch. But in his sketch, it was the Jews that were right, but God sent his condolences to the Mormons given all their hard work....
Regarding the topic at hand, I'm having a very hard time being distraught over this news....

Some Falwellisms:
"I believe that global warming is a myth. And so, therefore, I have no conscience problems at all and I'm going to buy a Suburban next time."
The Jews are returning to their land of unbelief. They are spiritually blind and desperately in need of their Messiah and Savior.
"If you're not a born-again Christian, you're a failure as a human being."
"Grown men should not be having sex with prostitutes unless they are married to them."

It's strange how 'born again Christians' seem to have no interest in the environment and deny that man is responsible to our earth. Nothing like sticking your head in the sand and not what I've read in the bible.
The rest of the quotes just show his further ignorance by judging others but I'll stop here about speaking ill of the dead.

Wow.
I didn't see that one coming. How will Falwell's death affect the religious right, and conservative Christianity? Will the extremists be galvanized, or will there be a vacuum created in his very noticable absence?

But if Joan Rivers' Uncle's dog dies in a fire. We should all cry and hold hands.
