I do not know if this should be here or in the "other sports" thread but either way here it is.
I just read this article on Derek Fisher of the Utah Jazz, as the ones that care know they are in the playoffs and as we ALL know how important the playoffs are this show his dedication to being a father more then a player. He missed the first two games of the series to be with his 10 month old doughter who has cancer of the retna, they were able to cure it but he would not leave her to go play no matter what.
It makes you glad that there are people out there that know what comes first. I just had to share it.
