24, 2:00am-3:00am - Best show of the season? (SPOILERS)

Well at least after the first 4. This show was really good tonight.

1) The death of Milo Pressman. So many characters die on 24 so that did not come as a shoker now that I look back, but when the Chineese guy shot him in the head my jaw dropped. Kudos to the writers for throwing a curve ball in there on what has so far been the worst season to date. I was looking forward to the Milo/Nadia potential relationship but I guess its done.

2) They are slowly forming the cast of season 7. It looks like James Cromwell, Rena Sofer, and Ricky Schroder will become regulars next season. It has become a trend for this show to introduce characters late in the season to have them become regulars the next season. It was obvious that Jack's dad would show up at some point, but I guess this was a good way to bring him back. Still why did he help Jack about 10 hours ago?

3) This show was really exciting, as they have never done something like this where CTU was actually taken over by terrorists. However, if you are an Alias fan like I am this episode will seem like a complete rip off from one of the shows they did in season 1.

4) I think its time for Chloe to leave. Her character has really become boring and if the show is looking for someone to kill for a Wow factor this would be a good candidate.

5) Josh Bauer is Jack's son. As many pointed out weeks ago. This has become obvious especially with all the hints that Jack and Marylin having a history. With Kim Raver joining a new show, it seems she wont be back for day 7 so this could be an angle the show might explore. Jack will have a "family" for the first time since day 1.

6) Is Bill done? He seems like the obvious man to save CTU from the Chineese terrorists. Lets see what happens between him and Karen as well.

7) What happened to Sandra? She is MIA for like the last 10 hours. What a waste of a character.

8) Is that it for Audrey? So she comes back and then just leaves like that? Conviently, Marylin is brought back for Jack to save. Meh.

This season has been the worst of the 6. I hope they just finish it off with some kind of flare so there is something good for season 7.

This season has been just dreadful. It started off with such a huge shock factor moment (with the nuke going off).
You liked this episode?? It was THAT easy to get into CTU? After 6 seasons, I'm surprised no one has tried...
I don't know why I keep watching it but I feel forced to for some reason.

Great show tonight! I guess the main question now is why does Phillip Bauer want Josh so bad?? Also I just realized that Karen Haze was not in the episode. I also think Audrey is done on this show, I heard he’s starting on a new shown but don’t know which one. I really thought that jack would be able to take out all of the Chinese bad guys because he has done it before but that didn’t obviously happen.

Kim has signed on to star in the NBC pilot "Lipstick Jungle". She will be playing one of a trio of power hungry woman in New York City, Kim's character being the editor in chief of glamorous pop-culture magazine "Bonfire". The pilot is also starring Brooke Shields.

It would have been more surprising to see that Jack's dad was behind the invasion if James Cromwell hadn't been listed in the credits and Josh Bauer was pointed out in the opening.

Yeah I noticed that right away. That is twice this season. As soon as I saw Roger Cross as a guest star in the first episode you knew he was gone. They did the same thing with Rieko Aylesworth on day 5.
