Not sure i'll go if its at the saddledome. He's not a stadium artist...
Have to disagree. I saw him at the Pacific Coliseum and he was awesome. His older acoustic based stuff was better in smaller venues, but his newer stuff sounds great in either situation.

I admit I try to listen to him as little as possible but I think that new song Waiting on the World to change is his and it sounds like the garbage that 14 year old girls would like. I am not trying to make fun of you for liking him just an opinion on the quality and style of his music.

I don't want this to turn in to an anti-Mayer thread. So if you want to believe he has talent, then great, if it makes you feel better to think that I know nothing about guitars, then even better.

It's fine if you don't get with his style or his type of music. It's a whole other thing to not recognize someones talent, whether you like them or not. Thats just ignorance I guess.
But you betcha, I'll have an awesome time at the concerts. 6th row in Edmonton, 4th in Calgary.
