hangover food
OK, I did a quick search on this and found threads about how to treat hangovers, but I want to go a little different direction with this.
We all have a hangover craving. For me, it's KFC, mostly because they make the best gravy ever. I am, however, open to new ideas, so what do you like to eat when you have a nice little hangover?

KFC is great for this. I find that the greasier the food the better I feel. Also, anything carbonated. 7up, sprite and coke are amongst my favorites.

Gatorade before you go to bed prevents most hang overs.
It is key during fishing trips to be able to drink by 9 or 10 the next morning.
As for food, soup. Tim Hortons makes great soup, chicken noodle is good, but like mushroom or tomato is yuck, gotta be something with a strong broth.

this is very true. several waters before drinking followed by a gatorade before bed, leave a bottle of water on the nightstand for as soon as you wake up (or near where ever you plan on passing out.)
i also like to take a multivitamin before i drink. find it helps, who knows though might be placebo effect.
i find greasy food is a must to cure hangovers, McDs breakfast is a good one.

All about the two cheeseburger meal or double QP with cheese meal at McD's. Works every time.

Vegemite On Toast - Something in your stomach is good, and salty is even better. Plus you get a Vitamin B top up. The same reasons also make peanut butter a good choice, but the oily nature might make some sensitive stomachs feel a bit yucky. If you do try try this one, skip the butter and just have dry toast.

If you have to get up early the next day nothing beats a greay breakfast sandwich from McDonalds or A&W. Add in the hashbrowns and you're good to go

This, to me, is very important, and I am mad at myslef for leaving it out of my original post. The only restriction is that i cant drink the pop i used as mix the night before (ie. if im drinking rum and coke, cant drink coke the next day).
Also. i love the McD's breakfast, too. just cant get up that early. oh, and brunch at a pub is nice, but it has to be in the afternoon.

umm.
yeah, that's usually what I get, or lazy loaf, or whatever location a group of us go to in order to collect our thoughts as to what we did the previous night.
I'm always for the stuff myself but with decent quality food .

My favourite choices:
1. Korean Pork Bone Soup + lots of kim chee!
2. XL Pho Tai Nam + Stir-fried beef rice wraps
3. Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup + baguette for dipping!

Third option, I whine about my hangover and the girlfriend makes me one to shut me up.
Cause cooking with a hangover would make me throw the heck up.

Welsh rarebit: cheddar cheese, beer, mustard, worchestershire sauce, all mixed together, poured over a thick slice of sourdough and toasted.
