For those who like Wes Anderson films, The Darjeeling Limited coming up later this year sounds like a doozy: Owen Wilson, Adrian Brody, and Jason Schwartzmann as three brothers lost in India. Throw in Natalie Portman and Angelica Huston, and it sounds like great fun. That, Beowulf (big Crispin Glover fan), and Bourne Ultimatum are the three I'm really looking forward to.

That sounds interesting! I would add it but it has no release date.
Edit: I found the release date and added the movie to the list.

I've always been a fan of Rush Hour so i'm really looking forward to Rush Hour 3. The Bourne Ultimatum may be good as well. And hopefully the Sequel to Bruce Almight, evan almighty, hope its gonna be funny.

I would agree with you about the Bourne series, but unfortunately I'm one of those 'film snobs' that read the novels years before the movies and just cant get into those films. They are an entirely different story that steals bits and pieces from the novels and it drives me nuts.

It's kinda sad when 7 out of the 10 upcoming "must see" movies are sequels.
I'm psyched for Transformers, but don't want to get my expectations too high in case I'm disappointed (George Lucas already ruined one of my childhood obsessions when he released the new trilogy).

I just watched Children of Men last night and thought that was a great film. Anybody else seen it, if so what did you think?

The reason it is on the list is because of the cast. It has the potential to be good.

I actually thought it was quite good too, I've read novels with similar themes. Really entertaining, I have to admit I love post-apocalyptic style themes. For example I'm looking forward to 28 weeks later, because I thought 28 days was awesome.

I think it will be good since 12 was so bad. They've got something to prove this time and will come through IMO. Isn't Pacino in it too? that can't hurt

I liked Shaun of the Dead and this movie looks to be in the same vein, so I'll hopefully go see it.
Transformers will be a must see. What kid didn't grow up with them? No sure why so many people think they will ruin the whole thing. Does anyone remember the cartoons? They weren't exactly a tour de force. Everyone remembers them as being awesome, but you were also 8, and squishing bugs was pretty high on your awesome list too. And if you are worried it will ruin your childhood image of Transformers then don't go see it.
I don't think the Simpson's movie will be that great, but since I use to watch so much of that show I feel an obligation to go see the movie.

I had heard great things about it so I checked it out about a week ago. I thought it was a cool concept, but the plot moved too slow and in the end I thought that not enough happened in the movie. But judging from my friends as well as the posts above, it looks like I just didn't get it. Oh well, it happens.
I watched Stranger than Fiction last night and it was great. Not anything like a typical Will Ferrell movie. The plot was SO good and I'm becoming a really big Dustin Hoffman fan (also see I Heart Huckabees and Meet the Fockers). I highly recomment this movie.

One of my top four movies of 2006, along with The Departed, The Lives of Others, and the afore-mentioned Stranger than Fiction. It was the sort of movie that had me tearing up at times not because of anything sad but simply because of how powerful it was. My wife and I were so impressed that we actually saw it twice in theatres (though not powerful enough to convince us to have kids yet).
