Gunman at Johnson Space Center in Houston
There is currently a gunman barracaded on the 2nd floor of the Johnson Space Center in Houston in building #44. Some of the building was evacuated but the gunman is still on the 2nd floor.
There is a report of 5-9 shots fired so far. No reports yet as to injuries, hostages.

I said it in that California shooting threat thread....
This is one of the worst by products of a shooting…people tend to “copy cat” in the follow weeks…really sad I hope none is hurt or is killed

guns shouldn't really have anything to do with this. It's the actions of the people that should be concerning.
And robberies, shootings, and all that bad stuff happen every day, it's just that this is much more dramatic and can be caught on TV for the public to drink up.
Yeah, it's sad and shouldn't happen, but is it really that different from any of the other killings that go on?
Anyway, I hope things turn out OK and nobody is hurt.

Gunman identified as a contract worker. Still no reports as to who else is inside the building with him. Swat teams, police are on the scene. Hopefully everyone got out of the building before he could do anything!

Unconfirmed:
An executive meeting was going on in a board room when the gunmen walked in and pointed a gun at one person and told everyone else to get down and then gunshots were heard.
Again, this is UNCONFIRMED by CNN.
Edit: What's wierd is that today is the anniversary of the Columbine shootings.

My god, this is pretty sad. Nearly every day now we can turn on CNN and see something like this. this is the 4th one i can think of this week off the top of my head

agreed. shoot them many times, but not enough to kill them. like, knees, elbows, ankles, hands...that sort of thing. oh...and the testicles; we dont need them reproducing. Yeah, i know this sounds really bad, and would look worse as somebody's signature, but i have no problem with badly injuring these jackasses, and i think a lot of people here would feel the same.
