First war crimes suspect busted

The Canada Border Services Agency arrested Cristobal Gonzalez-Ramirez early Friday morning on charges of war crimes, Citizenship Minister Jason Kenney announced Friday afternoon in Montreal.

Ramirez, 45, was arrested in Alberta and his last known address was in Edmonton, Kenney said.
Kenney said Ramirez is suspected of being involved in a "special army unit" in Honduras tied to war crimes allegations.
