Cdn terrorist suspect's wife looking for help..
I wish I could say I was sorry for her... but I can't. I wish they would just pack up their bags and leave the country.

I say whats good for the bombee should be good for the bomber. They are lucky they still have a couple of vehicles they can still drive. I'm surprised someone didn't torch them.

I'm not familiar with this case. What has her husband been convicted of?

This guys family...
Qayyum Abdul Jamal | Mississauga, Ont.
Age: 43
The oldest of the suspects. A school bus driver and father of four boys.
Charges: - Knowingly participating in or contributing to activity of a terrorist group.
- Receiving training with a terrorist group.
- Doing anything with intent to cause an explosion that is likely to cause serious bodily harm or death or serious damage to property.
************************************************** *******
God knows what kind of crap he has been teaching his kids. Probably been training them to be good little terrorists when they grow up.
.... and even though his wife professes to nothing about what he has been charged with... I don't believe her. She's probably just as guilty as he is. How can somebodies husband be involved with stuff like this and you know nothing about it? I just don't believe it.

...umm being Muslim?
That's all it seems to take to these days. Apparently being in the family is also a case of guilt.

Do I need to point out the Khadrs : Canada's First Family of Terrorism?
http://www.danielpipes.org/article/1639
Quote:
While an unusual case, the Khadr family's horrifying history serves as a warning, pointing to the danger of Muslim parents in North America and Europe who stray so deeply into militant Islamic currents that, Palestinian-style, they seek to turn their children into militant Islamic weapons to be turned against their own countries.
This pattern is yet rare, but it might well become more widespread as the second generation of Islamist children in the West comes of age. The key in the Khadr case, as it will likely be for others, is isolation within a militant Islamic environment — schools, press, social life.

At one time they all professed innocence and said they knew nothing about terrorism.

Sorry not trying to be an ass but didn't the government settle with the Khadr family. To be honest I don't know every thing about the Khadr case.
This one right now, is it the one where the group purchased over 1000lbs of fertilizer from under cover operatives?

So what? That's really unfortunate that you look at a whole race of people like that and try to back it up because some other Muslims did it. I am not sure if you understand how the justice systems works in Canada, but a crime of being guilty of association does not exist.

There is nothing to settle.
I think you may be thinking of the Maher Arar case.

Yeah, that's great, but has this particular guy been convicted of anything? Has he confessed?
I'll hold off on applauding this kind of vigilantism against his wife and children for the time being. Can you imagine what kind of jackass would do this kind of thing? Hopefully he gets locked up too.

I'm not looking at a whole race... just this particular family who's head has been charged with and arrested for terrorism.
Do not confuse an ardently religious moslem family for your regular North American quasi religious family. In a moslem family, the father's beliefs, are the family's beliefs. No ifs or buts. Thats the way it is. The father is the head of the family and its his way or the hiway.

Yup....bad idea to be pre-emptive rather than just let things carry on until something actually occurs.

I don't know how firing bullets into his radiator while he sits in prison could be considered pre-emptive.
Were they planning on using these vehicles in terrorist attacks and the bullets in the radiator were to pre-empitvely disable the vehicles?
I've got no problem with the guy's arrest, but even if he's found guilty, I don't think anyone should be shooting at his wife's car.

Okay, but our justice system (vigilantly aside) doesn't work that way. If the family was held accountable or presumed guilty for the actions of one member we would be essentially throwing out the whole process. A system where you lock someone up without evidence is more in line with fascism than democracy. See Patriot Act in the US. I'm not a fan of these types of rules, I am more of freedom type of person myself.

My mind agrees with you.... but my heart says move away (not you Buninator... the radical moslems in this country) from Canada to some 3rd world middle eastern country where you can be surrounded by your fellow BELIEVERS, burn donkey shat in the middle of your mud hut and eat goats eyes while chanting Allah is Great and Death to the USA and Canada and all the other infidels in the world.
