What Non-Hockey items do you collect?
I'd say I collect DVD's, buying movies I haven't seen based on word of mouth alone.
I buy pretty much every gaming system that comes out
I've just recently started collecting Samurai Swords, I love the way they look and love the old Akira Kurosawa Samurai films, and just in general enjoy Japanese Culture.
The Swords i'm into buying are 100% functional swords meaning if you're not careful you can lop an arm off. But I respect it for what it is and have been tought to respect all kinds of weapons growing up.
It's a thing of beauty.

I've collected license plates for quite awhile. CDs and DVDs as well.

NFL McFarlanes. I don't have them all (and don't plan to get them all either). But I have over 100 so far. Most of them opened and on display.

Golf balls. Everytime I'm in the bush looking for mine, I collect as many others that I come across...

That isn't counting the hockey ones either. You did say non hockey items. I would post some pics. But I don't have them here at work.

I actually collect rocks too, If i'm somewhere memorable and see one that looks interesting I scoop it.
Outside of Hawaiian lava rock though... I'm not even going to think about taking any of that home.

My collection was last appraised in the very low 5 digits. I've got rocks from around the world, and a meteorite. Good to know oil&gas exploration geologists.
But I agree... hard to take rocks from when on vacation. I took some from Yellowstone national park when I was a kid. I was freaking out at the border, since I knew it was wrong and I hadn't told my parents I hid them. Close call.

That would be a shame if your sword fell and sliced your 360 in two.
I suppose you could say I have a CD and comic book collection. Something of a videogame collection too. I usually go through periods where I swap what I'm keenly interested in.

I used to collect record albums. Then last year someone came along and offered me $1,500 for my collection. Wasn't a hard decision to sell them.

Mine cost $270 Canadian, and has a hardness of 1065 which is very high, it's something that can be used for Tameshigiri (Do a Google search)
