Default BC Cartoonist Johnny Hart dies . . .

The guy who authored the "BC" comic strip since 1958 has died.

http://edition.cnn.com/2007/US/04/08....ap/index.html

There was some ongoing occasional controversy on this comic strip due to Hart's pre-occupation with religious messages.

Still, almost 50 years is an outstanding achievement . . . .

I think what I miss most from not reading the newspaper anymore is the funny pages. So long Johnny.

In watching some of the recent Red Bull commercials I couldn't help but think of those old BC comics from the papers. 50 years is a long and impressive feat.

BC's Quest For Tires.

I'm now tempted to hook up my old Commodore 64 and play it again.

One of my favorite cartoons when I was young, there was often a deep message that made me think.

And yes, B.C's Quest for Tires was awesome.

Quest for tires was a hard game...particulalry when you went into the caves and had to avoid the little rocks or whatever.

I never did beat the game. Couldn't get across the damn bridge.

RIP Johnny Hart.
