They've updated the Gameday applet. It looks interesting, I can't wait to see how it works during the game.

Reed Johnson draws a walk in the first Jays at bat of 2007.

... And the first stolen base of the year?! Wow ... talk about out-of-character for Gibbons and the Jays.

Probably can through ESPN.com or sportsnet.ca but ESPN is probably your better bet. Jays lead 2-0 off of a Lyle Overbay double and Vernon Wells single. None out. Bonderman looks terrible. Tabler says "He might be a little geeked because it's Opening Day".

2 in, Wells on first - no outs, Thomas up to bat.

Just go to MLB.com and start the Gameday applet.

Oh man, Wells running AGAIN on Bonderman, Rios hits a fly to shallow left, and it falls right in front of Munroe for an error. Jays lead 3-0.

22 pitches in that inning for Bonderman.

Any guess what they will cap pitch-counts at?
Is 90 tops for the first game of the season? Although the weather looks nice, so it isn't cold.

Thanks, guys.

Is the game in Detroit or Toronto? If in Detroit, not exactly the way that they would like it planned....

Sounds like the Jays are playing aggressive....hopefully they mix it up throughout the season. I can see a lot of teams "sitting back" thinking that they won't steal, bunt etc...which may be the case a lot of the time, but it is good to mix it up to keep everyone on their toes.

It's in Detroit. The Jays look good, but the Tigers overall looked terrible in the top of the first. Everything was just a little off.

It's still 3-0 Jays after the Jays' half of the second. Bonderman is up around 45 pitches or so to this point, and Pudge Rodriguez is having a rough game ... mental mistakes, bad throws to second on the steal attempts. They're making the Jays look pretty good.

I have to say, Royce Clayton made a nice defensive play on a tough bounce to end the first and made some nice contact in his at bat in the second, ending up with the single. He was running on Bonderman as well but always got stuck with foul balls.

And chalk up the first Jays error of the season to Aaron Hill.

3-3 now going to the bottom of 6. Glaus missed a two run shot by inches last inning. Hit it right to the top of the fence but it was a relatively easy catch for Munroe.
