There's no way they'll be able to find enough labour to do them all.. but looks nice!

actually a few look to me missing? Don't forget about the new Shell building (rumored) they are waiting till EnCanna released theirs so they can top it. So look for another unvieling of another huge tower, also rumored to be taller than anything else.
There's more tower construction in calgary than canada combined.
ps. there's 2 50+ story condo's not even pictured in the above photo's

Why does each picture have different buildings? Are these just random guesses? or actual plans?

I think they're the same buildings, but just from different angles.
But that skyline is looking pretty sweet (a little in the optomistic though considering 2010 is only 4 years away, 2015 would probably be more accurate)

I only see the new Encana building in 2 of 5 pictures. And maybe with a different design in a couple, but definately not in all of them.

The buildings look great, but I think Calgary should try to keep some of the trees and greenery. IMO, that enhances the esthetics of a city just as much as architecture. They at least compliment a city in different ways.

Austin is going through the same thing right now, California is coming here because its the new "place to be". Kind of makes me want to move because I'm scared everything I like about this town is going to disappear...

That's pretty much Calgary, but pretty much the entire country is moving out here. Vancouver, Toronto, Sask, Mannitoba, ugh...
Honestly, I don't know the odds but i'm guessing the odds of born and raised Calgarians or at least Calgarians who have lived here 25+ years are outnumbered at least 30 to 1.

I've noticed that this city is getting a higer ratio of jerks to decent enough people.
There's a lot more rudeness in this city then there every was before, and business and personal etiquette are going downhill.

And those pictures dont seem to include the three 42 storey ArriVa towers immediately north of the Saddledome.

Shell's getting a new building? Wow, that'd be great for their workers. They're packing them in like crazy at the current tower.
