Default How to glue my van door together?

My 2000 Dodge Caravan has suddenly had the black rubber strip on the exterior of the passenger door come loose (the part that prevents car doors from dinging you and stuff). It seems to be attached in the middle by black clips that are going into the door and they seem fine, but the glue, if that is what it is, that is holding the top and bottom edges seems to have come loose.

Anyway, what stuff should I use to glue it on, or is glue just the wrong thing to be using , or should it just go into the dealership?

Any help would be much appreciated.

The dealership would probably rape you, unless you just asked to see if they could do it for free. I would visit your local crappy tire and see what they have. Just look for a strong, clear glue that you can apply as a thin layer. Even Crazy Glue should work. Just be careful when you apply so that it doesn't show once the trim is back on cause that would most likely ruin some of your paint.

3M makes an exterior grade double sided tape. It's a grey colour. I've used it on my car and it's really, really strong. It'll definitely work on your van for attaching a piece of trim. Plus it can be removed and shouldn't take any paint with it. I bought mine at Home Depot. It was with the rest of the tapes.
