Default Invermere Golfing....

Looking to put together a golf getaway for a buch of buddies and co-workers for April or May in Invermere / area.

Other than the internet does anyone have a contact where I can research tee time availability and accomodations ?

Anyone done a recent trip that they would recommend ?

My cousin has a cottage right beside the Radium golf course. He rents it out and stuff, if you're interested.

I played golf at a course called Copper Point Golf couse

http://www.copperpointgolf.com/

It was past the turn off into Invermere, down HWY 93...

It was really nice (great scenery), reasonably priced and the carts had GPS on them

Thing is, we never got to finish our round of 18, cuz it started to storm (thunder and some brief flashes of lightning). I wanted to stay and finish, but the risk of being high in altitude and swinging a metal stick in the air, my brother wanted to pack it in. We only got 9 holes in, but the pro shop refunded our money for 9 holes. Really good experience and I want to go back and finish out the rest of my 9 holes there...

I played Copper Point a few years back. Beautiful Course.

I'm looking at that one again for my little trip.

Eagle Ranch as well.

Might try Greywolf this time out.

I know you said no interent, but...

If your group is all good enough to play Eagle Ranch and Copper Point as you indicated you have, for sure play Greywolf at least once while you're there. By far the nicest course in the Invermere area, in my opinion, and very challenging as well. They have group deals for 12 or more at the Panorama Village to boot...

Not sure how familiar you are with the area, but if you're wanting the most central location to the courses, stay right in Invermere.

People have mentioned most of the nice courses out there. Kimberly has Trickle Creek, which is just as nice as Eagle Ranch. (It's about an hours drive away) http://www.tricklecreek.com/
Don't bother with Fairmont Mountain Side, it's a really short course and not challenging in the slightest. Riverside at Fairmont is much nicer to play. Same deal with Radium Resort course...the springs is a better bet.

Well having been to RAdium/Invermere the past two years this thread intrests me. Me and my buddies typically just play a Par 3 course for fun. I beleive it's called Edgewater Hilltop, about a 5 minute drive from Radium, so about 10-15 from Invermere.

Good is a relative term....

I have broken 100 on both of those courses but I'm not so sure my buddies will.

Its more of a pre-stress relief before we kick off a full summer of a stupid amount of work.

I'm looking to drive out in the morning golf the afternoon and stay overnight.
Golf the following morning and either drive back or do another round in the afternoon and come back the following day.

TXS for the links. I did check those out and have some quotations coming from a couple of different websites.

Cheers...or Fore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend getting one of those golf coupon books. They have good deals on Mountainside in Fairmont, Golden (Great course), and Bootleg Gap down in Kimberly.
