Weekend Ideas?
Every weekend I do the same thing. wake up... play video games... a friend comes over... play more video games. Quite honestly thats as much fun as it sounds. none at all. negative fun after a while. now i've made a vow with a friend. to do something decent this weekend, other than the usual. any ideas on what there is to do in this city?
we are both under 18 so bars and stuff are not a possibility.

Good biking/hiking trails in Calgary, Calgary Zoo is one of the best zoos I've ever been to, buy a GPS and go geocaching, fanforever is right the Royal Tyrell in Drum is a world class museum that's not too far from Calgary.

Go to CO-OP
Buy some Spolombos sausge and some buns, condiments, etc.
Go to Big Hill Springs Provincial Park (Look on a map, it's east of Airdrie)
Hike around for a while.
Cook the sausage over an open fire. (you might need to bring some wood, neighbors fence? )
Go home and play video games

Bowling can be fun. Go Karts are pretty fun too.
Or maybe try hitchhiking out to Banff?

I like that hookers and blow idea. If you're not into that one though you can go to the movies, or the library, or the mall (lot's of girls there). Bowling, go karts, paintball, lasertag. Or if all else fails, you can get a job at somewhere like chapters. I remember working there when I was under 18 and I met a lot of girls there.

Book a couple courts at a local rec centre. Call up some friends. Play squash for a couple hours alternating people.
If you want to make sure that your finger dexterity goes to crap for video games, go to a climbing gym and mess around on the bouldering wall. Climbing stuff is good times, and you seriously won't be able to tie your shoes let alone play video games after a decent first session. You would need to a least rent some climbing shoes but it would probably only end up costing about $20-30 per person for everything you need.

Doesn't sound like he hangs out with a lot of girls, but still, that was pretty funny.
I don't have much advice for this dude other than do something that is not playing video games. Anything. Shoot some rats, steal some hubcaps, take up smoking, drive around, hang out at a convenience store, go to a party at the moontower... anything.

Seems to me that he doesn’t hangout with a lot of girls (no offence drew24) if he did I don’t think this thread would exist
